Obituary for Donald Bruce Terreberry

Donald Bruce Terreberry
TERREBERRY, Donald Bruce – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Don Terreberry announces his passing at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Sue (nee Wass). Cherished father of Lee Terreberry (Lauren) and Daniel Terreberry. Loving grandfather of Connor, Christian, Rhys and Madison. Dear brother of David (Gabriella), Douglas, Gerald and Ken (Laurie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Mildred Terreberry.

The importance of hard work, loyalty and family values was the core of who Don was. He was a member of Local Union 537. After many years employment at E.S. Fox he became a Project Manager for Kemp Construction. He loved riding his motorcycle and the freedom of the open road. He found peace and serenity in the splendor of nature and was blessed to spend his final months feeling the sun on his face from his “backyard paradise.”

Above all and most dear to Don’s heart was his family; family was everything.
His children and grandchildren were, by far, his proudest accomplishments. Through them, he instilled the values of respect, honesty and living life to its fullest each and every day. A legacy of his that will continue to live on.

Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Don’s life will be held at the H.L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Monday, September 18th at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior to service, beginning at 11 a.m. Interment at Doan’s Ridge Cemetery will follow.

The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Ride for Sight (Foundation Fighting Blindness). Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com
