When Joseph Libertini, a licensed funeral director for twenty five years, purchased H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, he inherited a tradition of excellence and service few communities can boast of.  Cudney Funeral Home, at 241 West Main Street, Welland, has won national praise from both industry associations and national trade magazines.  Founded in 1934 by husband and wife funeral directors, Harold and Marion Cudney, Cudney Funeral Home was built on a commitment to sensitivity, service and attention to detail.  Through the years, it has grown to be the establishment of choice to thousands of Welland and area families in their time of need.  Cudney Funeral Home has only changed hands four times in it's 75 year history.  Up until the mid-nineties, it was still in the Cudney family being run by the Cudney's daughter Carol and husband Larry Cooney.

H.L.
