PHILLIPS, Beverly (nee Jackson) - Beverly was surrounded by family when she passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Robert for 66 years. Cherished mother of Brenda Phillips (Ralph Rochon), Patti Gonyou (John Anderson) of Welland, Peter Phillips (Lois Holmes) of Wallace, Nova Scotia and Jeff Phillips (Darlene) of Fonthill. Proud and loving grandmother of Christine Greco (Anthony) of Welland, Amy Gonyou (Joel Bamsey) of Guelph and "GG" to Charlie and Lucy Greco and Bruce Bamsey. Dear sister of Betty Harvey. Predeceased by her parents Horace and Bertha Jackson, brother Jack Jackson and infant daughter.

Beverly was born in Welland in 1930 and remained a lifelong resident of the city. She met the love of her life, Robert, while enjoying one of her many hobbies - roller skating. She enjoyed square dancing, sewing and knitting and was a long time member of St. David's Anglican Church and the A.C.W. Beverly's greatest joy was her family. As her family grew, she cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The love and respect her and Robert shared is a legacy that they leave behind for their family. She will be sadly missed by all the lives she has touched.

The family will receive friends at St. David's Anglican Church, 369 Thorold Road, Welland on Thursday, March 29th beginning at 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. David's Anglican Church or a charity of one's choice.
