SZGATTI, Kathy Anne – Following an eighteen month battle with colon cancer, Kathy passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the age of 63. She is survived by her daughter Julie Cumming (Keith), her grandchildren Katlyn, Kyle and Matthew, her brothers Larry, Ken and Nick and their respective families. Kathy is predeceased by her parents Anne and Alec Szgatti. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held. Those who knew Kathy would know how much of a cat lover she was so donations, in her memory, can be made to the Welland and District Humane Society. Cards are available at the H.L.
