Obituary for George William Rowe

ROWE, George William - (December 4th, 1958 - June 5th, 2017).
It is with profound sadness we mourn the passing of our brother George Rowe on Monday June 5th 2017, in his 59th year. George received his golden wings and is in God's precious hands. Left to mourn his passing are his sister Cheryl Rowe and her children Eduard (Jennifer), Richard, Jamielyn, Christopher (Faith) his great nephew Wesley, and by his brother Chris Rowe and his daughter Madison. Also survived by his sister-in-law Betty Rowe and adopted daughter Jae MacIntyre. Predeceased by his parents George Rowe Sr. (1994) and Nancy Rowe (nee Cowan) (2002) and his brother Glen Rowe (2016). George will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many other extended family members and by his magnitude of loving friends he has gained through the years especially through his inspiring talent in the World of Karaoke.

He worked hard, played often, loved to laugh, always saw the good in any situation and never missed an opportunity to help others. He had an infectious smile, a kind heart and a twinkle in his eye. Throughout his life he met many and always took the time to get to know someone new. He will be deeply missed but memories of him will live on forever.

Please join the family as they gather to celebrate George’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4, 383 Morningstar Avenue, Welland on Sunday, June 18th from 1 – 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Welland Hope Centre with cards available at the H.L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland who are in care of the funeral arrangements.

A heartfelt thank you to the First Responders, the Niagara Regional Police and the members of Victim Services for their professionalism, care and sensitivity.
