BOWES (Loveless) Helen Rose – Helen passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of William Bowes and the late Kenneth Loveless (2004) . Cherished mother of Gary Loveless and Kevin Loveless (Veronica). Proud grandmother of Shelby Kremer (Pat), Riley Williston, Cassidy Loveless and great-grandmother of Athena and Deacon. Dear sister of Lil Imre (Alec). Helen will be sadly missed by her step-children William Bowes (Shirley), Daniel Bowes (Joy), Susan Parks (Rick), Sherry Ruzylo (Rick) and their families. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Rose Kukuchka and sisters Betty and Susan. Helen worked as a Manager at Reitman’s for several years. She was always actively involved with volunteering at her churches. Above all else, Helen devoted her life to her family. She was very blessed to have had two great loves in her life. She always remained positive and hopeful and faced her illness with great courage and a radiant smile that never left her even on the darkest days. Her love for her family and dear friends will endure and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, March 21st from 6 – 8 p.m. A service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Wednesday, March 22nd at 11 a.m. A private family interment will follow.
