HENDERSON, Peggy Rosina (nee Cope) – Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Welland Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2017 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late John Graves Henderson “Jack” (2012). Loving mother of Nora Pitkin, Kathleen Beaulieu (Kevin) and Peggy Kepecz (Zac). Cherished grandmother of Sheri Cherriere (James), Christopher Robins (Sara Skinner), James Henderson, Tyler John Kepecz, Brandon Kepecz (Kelly), and great-grandmother of Connor and Maddy. Dear sister of and Ronald Cope (Mary). Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Florence Cope and several siblings. Peggy had a great sense of fun, a quirky sense of humour, and an infectious laugh. She loved her Bingo and had a natural gift for storytelling. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Pleasantview Cemetery on Friday, March 3rd at 11 a.m. Friends are asked to meet at the entrance to the cemetery off Hwy#20, Fonthill. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the staff and residents of Royal Rose Place for their kindness and to the Nurses from the 4th Floor at the Welland Hospital for their gentle compassion during their mother’s final hours.
