MCDONALD Robert Wayne Richard (Rob)- With heavy hearts and great sadness we suddenly had to set Rob free. Our husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, Rob passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital on Sunday December 18, 2016. He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 19 years Lisa McDonald, his six children; Brittani ( Alex “Charley”), Bridjett, Bethani, Isaac, Beaudine and Brooklynn. Also survived by his father Robert McDonald and mother Barbra McDonald. Proud grandfather of Korey and dear brother of Scott (Preciosa), James and Nanci (Adam). Uncle of his only nephew Preston and nieces Makayla & Jasmine Rowe. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rob also leaves behind his two Special Dogs Angel and Laya. Predeceased by his brother Kennith (KK). Rob’s heart was always full of joy. He loved his wife, children, family and friends with all his heart and soul keeping them in his prayers. He was extremely independent, honest, lovable teddy bear, most thoughtful generous man you could ever imagine. Rob enjoyed being out in the country, fishing, working on cars, always wanting to be with his family, sing and dancing to music. Just the day before Rob passed he was full of spirit singing and jumping around with joy, laughing doing what he loved, being Bucklighting. Rob was very strong, loving, hard worker and the sweetest man anyone could ever find. He would be the first one to help anyone, even a stranger. The family will receive friends at the H.L Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland Thursday, December 22nd from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service to celebrate Rob’s life at 4 p.m. with Pastor Ralph officiating.
