Obituary for Edward Frank Couldery

COULDERY, Edward Frank – It is with saddened hearts that the family of Edward Couldery announce his passing, surrounded by his family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the age of 76. Proud and devoted father of Bobby Couldery (Melissa) and Randy Couldery (Caroline). Loving grandfather of Tyler Couldery. Edward will be missed by his step-children Micheal Chalmers (Dana), Robin Chalmers (Susan), Jarrett Chalmers (Noreen) and step-grandchildren Micheal Jr., Sarah, Ryley, Landry, Chloe, Mahly and Ryan. Dear brother of Edith Bell (late Don). Uncle of Byron Bell (Kim) and their children Rachele, Robb and Clareese, Maury Bell (Jen) and their children Patrick and Teagan and Kirsten McCutcheon (Dave) and their son Bradley. Predeceased by his wife Micheline Chalmers-Couldery and his parents Robert and Marguerite Couldery. Edward retired as a Machinist at General Motors in 2005. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A quiet man, Edward devoted his life to raising his family and his unwavering integrity and example of selfless giving is a legacy that they will forever hold in their hearts. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, November 8th from 4 – 7 p.m. A service to celebrate Edward’s life will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Wednesday, November 9th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Cemetery.
