ASTON, Trudy Ann – It is with profound sadness that the family of Trudy Ann Aston announce her sudden passing on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the age of 56. Cherished daughter of Donna Aston (nee Mires) and the late William “Bill” Aston. Dear sister of Jim Aston (Lynn) and Tracy Pilcher. Trudy loved all of her nieces and nephews like they were her own children. Steven and Kelly Aston and Ian, Scott and Rachel Pilcher will miss their “Auntie Trudy” immensely. She will also be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Trudy was employed as a Hot Deli Clerk at Zehr’s in Welland for over eight years and will be sadly missed by her co-workers and customers. In her final act, Trudy saved and enhanced the life of three others through organ donation. "When there is an organ donor, life springs from death, sorrow turns to hope and terrible loss becomes a gift."-UNOS. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the H.L.
