WINTER, Raymond Andrew – Ray passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Welland Hospital in his 53rd year. Beloved husband and best friend for 17 years of Nancy. Cherished uncle of Katrina and Kenny Honsberger and their children Kadence, Kennedy and Kaleb. Ray will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Kathy Fader (Earl Ross) and his nephew Liam Fader- Gibson . He will also be missed by his long time friend Paul James and many family and friends. . Predeceased by his parents Kester and Vera Winter and his sister Sheila. Ray was a Long Haul Truck Driver for over 30 years. He was a member of the Welland Snowmobile Club and the St. Catharines & Area Aquarium Society. Those who knew Ray, loved him, and knew that they were loved in return. He was a true gentleman. A gentle giant that was so caring and kind. He had a heart of gold. His memories will be forever cherished and his love never forgotten. A private service has taken place. Memorial donations, in memory of Ray, may be made to the Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society or the S.P.C.A. with cards available at the H.L.
