SCOTT, Percy Ronald “Scotty” – Passed away suddenly at the Juravinski Cancer Centre on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Dear brother of Bernice Blanchard and uncle of Brian (Susan), Kim (Cathy), Mark (Darlene), David (Debbie), Nancy (Tony), Neil (Peggy), Ian (Christine) and Gloria (Mike). Predeceased by his brother Harold, father Percy, mother Ina and brother-in-law Clarence Blanchard. Scotty was more like a dad to his nieces and nephews than an uncle. He will be deeply missed by his best friend Paul Morissette and his friends at the Ye Olde Squire. Scotty worked for the City of Welland for 32 years. He was involved with Dyck Jewelers and managed many Welland Minor hockey teams. Respecting Scotty’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Wednesday, August 17th at 1 p.m with visitation two hours prior beginning at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at Fonthill Cemetery.
